The novel follows a Los Angeles therapy group for six “final girls,” or sole survivors of the mass murder events that inspired slasher movies aplenty in the ‘80s and ‘90s.

Andy Muschietti of It fame will also direct the TV show in addition to executive producing with Barbara Muschietti and Irene Yeung for Double Dream. Theron, AJ Dix, Beth Kono, and Andre Haas will executive produce for Denver & Delilah Films, alongside Adam Goldworm for Aperture Entertainment. Hendrix will also help produce the series.
