Disney’s acquisition of Fox has led to a number of interesting developments, but the one on everyone’s minds is what will Disney do with Fox’s franchises.
Earlier in the year, Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed that the company will try to incorporate Fox’s existing franchises into its portfolio. Most recently, the company reiterated that point with several announcements.
Specifically, the company announced that several Fox properties are being rebooted for their Disney+ streaming service. The four Fox franchises are Home Alone, Cheaper By The Dozen, Night at the Museum, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

In addition, Disney has also said that they are looking at ways to reboot the Planet of the Apes franchise, though there is no word yet on whether it will be in theaters or on Disney+.
And of course, with the X-Men and Fantastic Four properties under their belt, Marvel is looking into trying to incorporate the famous teams into the MCU.

Disney obviously expects big things from Fox, especially after suffering a stock loss due to several Fox bombs.
