Attention wizards, witches, Squibs, and Muggles! Harry Potter: The Exhibition may be coming to a city near you! According to Collider, Warner Bros. recently announced they would be taking the exhibition on the road to major cities across the United States.
The event will premiere in at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania sometime in 2022. In addition to visiting various cities across the US, the event will also travel around the world. Harry Potter fans will be able to enjoy all realms of J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, as parts of the exhibition are dedicated to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Within the exhibit, fans will get to closely examine the costumes and props from the films and “enjoy magical environments and installations,” as mentioned by Collider.
According to Collider, the CEO and president of the Franklin Institute, Larry Dubinsky, is “proud” that the institute will the debut location for the exhibition. He says the exhibition will “put Philadelphia in the national spotlight,” thus attracting thousands of visitors and in turn creating a reliable stream of incoming tourism revenue.
