Jordan Peele unveiled the first poster for his new movie, Nope, set to premiere in theatres July 22, 2022. The film will star Daniel Kaluuya of Get Out and Judas and the Black Messiah, Keke Palmer, and Steven Yeun. Actress Barbie Ferreira of Euphoria and Brandon Perea have recently joined the cast.

Peele favors the mysterious when it comes to his movie posters, and Nope is no different. Featuring an ominous cloud with a string of kites trailing it like a tail above an illuminated town, the first look at the movie peaks interest without giving anything away.

One thing’s for sure; Peele will deliver on the disturbing. His filmography so far guarantees a tumultuous and terrifying ride, similar to his renowned thrillers Us and Get Out. Peele is keeping his foot on the horror industry’s neck, releasing another horror flick, Candyman, on August 27 of this year.

We might have to wait a whole year for this masterpiece, but Peele will surely have us saying “yep” to “nope.”
