With Season 5 of Game of Thrones over and many characters done along with it, fans are once again waiting to see what will happen next. But what makes Season 6 of the show unique is that it will officially be past the point of the books, so those watching and those reading are finally at the same point. That point is having no idea what will happen next.
One of the most mourned deaths of Season 5 was the final scene where [SPOILERS again, in case you thought we weren’t serious] Jon Snow was stabbed by multiple men from his own brotherhood, the Night’s Watch. However, there is much debate over whether or not he is really gone for good, despite the extensive damage done to his body.
To further the ambiguity, fans are keeping a close eye on filming locations; and, Kit Harington (the actor who plays Snow) has been spotted in Belfast multiple times now. Not only is this a known location for the series’ interior scenes filming, but Harington has also been turning down local fan requests for pictures. Could this be an attempt to stay incognito?
Between Harington spottings and Jon Snow’s uncanny ability to live through the craziest of scenarios, fans are hopeful the character will return for another season on one of TV’s most popular book series adaptations.
