Yes, you’ve read that right! The God of Mischief will be coming to your screens again as Loki has been renewed for a second season on Disney+! The announcement was first made during the ending credits for the show’s season one finale by way of a stamp branded on the titular character’s case file.

Of course, none other than Tom Hiddleston portrays Loki in the show, as he has in various other Marvel films. Owen Wilson stars as Agent Mobius, who works for the Time Variance Authority (TVA), and “specializes in the investigations of dangerous time criminals.” Also starring in Loki are Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Richard E. Grant, Wunmi Mosaku, and Sophia Di Martino. Kate Herron is the show’s director, while Michael Waldron is the head writer, according to Deadline.

In a recent interview with Deadline, Hiddleston spoke about the show and his character’s return. When asked whether he’d be willing to continue playing Loki in the future, Hiddleston replied, “I have learned, at this point, having said goodbye to the character more than twice, two and a half times maybe, to make no assumptions.”

Hiddleston added, “But I do love playing him, and every time, I seem to find new, interesting things about him. So, yeah, I’m a temporary passenger on Loki’s journey, but we’ll see. We’ll see where the ride goes now.”
