Imagine going to a costume party dressed as yourself? For someone like me who isn’t famous and portraying a character on a TV show, I could actually get away with something that. But if you’re Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow on Game of Thrones, you might actually look a little crazy.

But he is not crazy, he was just in a rush. His fiancée, Rose Leslie, apparently insisted that he buy the costume when they walked into a costume store in search of a quick party attire for a ‘Bad Taste’ themed costume party. The story is actually quite funny, and if I were his fiancée, I’d probably subject him to something as hilariously embarrassing as that as well (especially after he describes the story of my engagement with “I blew my load“).
Apparently the woman working at the store told Harington that he looked like the Game of Thrones character, so she suggested a Jon Snow costume. So when Rose saw the costume she said, “I won’t love you if you don’t wear it … You should do it.”
Listen, if that isn’t a reminder that you’re about to marry a woman who will keep you laughing then I don’t know what is but apparently Kit felt the embarrassment. “The people bringing around canapés were looking at me, thinking, ‘You’re sad, man! You’ve come to a party dressed as your character'” he told Heat Magazine.
All embarrassment aside, I’m sure he was the best looking Jon Snow at the party.
