T.S. Eliot Prize Shortlist For 2021

The T.S. Eliot Prize, one of the most prestigious awards for poetry, has just unveiled the 2021 shortlist and here they are.

The T.S. Eliot Prize has just unveiled the shortlist for this year and according to The Guardian, the 2021 shortlist comprises “[t]en books that sound clear and compelling voices of the moment.”

What is considered to be one of the most prestigious awards for poetry, with past winners being Ocean Vuong and Bhanu Kapil? The T.S. Eliot Prize awards £25,000 to the winning poet and £1,500 each to those that were shortlisted. Every year, the committee for the T.S. Eliot Prize looks for the most compelling collection of poetry printed by British and Irish publishers, with this year having a record 177 collections submitted. Without further ado, here is the shortlist for the 2021 T.S. Eliot Prize.
