Nancy Drew, everyone’s favorite teen sleuth, has been around for 90 years now. However, with the release of the comic by Dynamite, Nancy appears to have died. The Hardy Boys, another series which usually crosses over with Nancy Drew, are investigating Nancy’s death in the new comic.
The comic is called The Death of Nancy Drew. It is written by Anthony Del Col and illustrated by Riverdale’s Joe Eisma.

Let’s hope that Nancy is still alive somewhere and will eventually come back. If she really has died, then it would not look too good from the perspective of young female readers if the Hardy Boys have to rescue her.
The Nancy that we know and love should be smart enough and intelligent enough to survive on her own and solve any case without the Hardy Boys’ help. Sure, they could be sidekicks and her friends, but not the ones who always have to rescue her.
Especially not on her birthday.
