So earlier this week, we reported on the hilarious new Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and What Looked Like a Large Pile of Ash, written entirely by a predictive text bot. Over the past several days, the text has become famous for lines such as “‘the password was BEEF WOMEN,’ Hermione cried,” and “‘Ron is the handsome one’ muttered Harry.” Now, illustrator Megan Nicole Dong has taken the joke to the next level with brilliant drawings of some of the key scenes.
If you haven’t already spent quite a lot of time pouring over what is sure to go down in history as the greatest piece of writing of all time, I would counsel you to do so now. Once you have familiarized yourself with the wonders of What Looked Like a Large Pile of Ash, thrill to the genius of Megan Nicole Dong’s illustrations. They are such a treat.
