House of Gucci, based on the 2001 book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed, follows the true and turbulent marriage and divorce of Patrizia and Maurizio Gucci, the head of the Gucci fashion house, which eventually leads to his murder.
The movie has a star-studded cast, with Lady Gaga as Patrizia Reggiani and Adam Driver as Maurizio Gucci, as well as Jared Leto as Paolo Gucci, Al Pacino as Aldo Gucci, Jeremy Irons as Rodolfo Gucci, and Salma Hayek as Giussepina. Fans have been patiently waiting for the trailer to drop since those first images of Lady Gaga and Adam Driver dripping in Gucci appeared on the internet, and finally, we can bask in all of its dramatic glory.
In the name of the Father, Son, and the House of Gucci indeed. The movie is set to hit theaters on November 24, 2021.
