Hey Riverdale and Sabrina fans, we have wonderful news for you! Our favorite young witch, Sabrina Spellman (portrayed by Kiernan Shipka) from Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, is coming to the town of Riverdale.
According to EW, Sabrina will make her Riverdale special appearance on season 6, episode 4. Although it is unclear how Sabrina will play into Riverdale, the special episode is titled “The Witching Hour(s)” and will focus on Cheryl, played by Madelaine Petsch. Cheryl will be performing a dangerous spell which could lead to mortal (and possibly fatal) consequences concerning a Blossom family member. With dangerous and potentially life changing consequences, it is fortunate that Sabrina will be coming for a visit—Cheryl will definitely need some help!
This is a special treat for both Riverdale and Sabrina fans as both belong in the same universe. It is also especially exciting to see Shipka’s Sabrina in action as Netflix canceled Chilling Adventures of Sabrina in November 2020. Meanwhile, now is a wonderful time get caught up on both shows. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is available to stream on Netflix and Riverdale is available on The CW app and Amazon Prime for purchase.
Season 6 of Riverdale will be premiere on The CW during a five episode special event on Tuesday, November 16 9pm ET/8pm CT.
