After the complicated year publishing (and the world) had in 2020, book sales are soaring high in 2021. The bestselling titles this year are all over the place, with children’s books dominating the race.

The #1 bestselling title of the year so far has been the 10th installment in Dav Pilkey’s Dog Man series, Mothering Heights, which has sold 867,000 copies since its release on March 23rd.

Following behind as the second best-selling book of the year is Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss. This beloved title sold around 584,000 print copies, 200,000 more than it did last year. And in 3rd place comes The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah, the top-selling title in the adult category. This book has sold roughly 558,000 copies this year so far.
