2. Color Me In by Natasha Diaz

While there is quite a bit of drama in this coming-of-age novel, it is also about the struggle of a family separated by the injustice of racial prejudices. In this bleak time for the young teen Nevaeh Levitz, she must find love for herself, with her family, and within her community. This story is perfect for you people-pleasing Libras, or just people-pleasers in general. Throughout the novel, Nevaeh must learn to find her own voice and her own happiness.
3. Here There Are Monsters by Amelinda Bérubé

When a family makes a big move across the country to an isolated neighborhood, surrounded by nature and unknown terrors, they are devastated as they lose their youngest daughter Deirdre after she disappears into the swamps of the forest. To cope with the change, Grace hides away in her imagination, until she realizes that Harlem “has a place for a girl whose eyes are always on the stars.”
For anyone thinking they may be alone in a new situation, this book proves that all you have to do to feel at home is look around and see what you have.
5. Sabrina & Corina: Stories by Kali Fajardo-Anstine

For any Libras too busy spending time with family and friends, this short story collection is perfect to pick up and put down at any pace. The stories follow several Latin characters, mainly women, as they band together—families, friends, companions—to forge a better life, under circumstances of poverty, abuse, gentrification, etc. This book is not the sort that will have the happy ending you may be looking for, but the hope that these characters find together in spite of their circumstance is inspiring. Definitely a bold choice for a Libra, but certainly an amazing read.
