Whenever you’re feeling down, know that every little thing that seems like the end of the world today has already been done and somehow dealt with in every other fictional character’s world in books – old or new.
Well now my bookish tweeters, hasn’t this month flown by in a full swoop? Then again, hasn’t that been the case for the last month, or two, or pretty much every month since we’ve been put under lockdown due to COVID-19?!
Imagine this: you just read through a really good part (or better yet, you just finished the book!) and so the reward you get for doing so is cramping legs and a stiff neck, as well as a reminder that you don’t live in that other world? Very disheartening, at best.
