Roxane Gay, New York Times bestselling author of books such as Bad Feminist, Hunger, and Difficult Women, has teamed up with Grove Atlantic to create the the Roxane Gay Books imprint. The press will publish 3 titles a year from a mix of fiction, nonfiction and memoir genres with a focus on underrepresented voices. This is not Gay’s first time publishing books, however. She’s had some previous experience —although on a very small scale—as she founded Tiny Hardcore Press in 2011, which put out 25 to 50 copies of each title publishing along with e-books.
