Comic artist Kate Knudson is truly doing God’s work. On her Tumblr, Loquacious Literature, Knudson illustrates memorable moments from the Harry Potter series that didn’t make the final cut in the film adaptations. She even draws Harry and Hermione as people of color, challenging the film’s decision to cast a primarily oatmeal-colored cast and adding a necessary and diverse twist to the Harry Potter universe. Yesterday, Amazon announced a new feature for Prime members: a book box subscription delivering hand-selected children’s books right to your door. The subscription service begins delivering later this year, but you can register for an invite here and be the first to know when it launches. The subscription is $22.99 per box and includes either four board books or two hardcover books. Amazon claims the price gives subscribers a 35% discount compared to buying the books individually.
