A Crazy Rich Sequel
Kevin Kwan, author of Crazy Rich Asians, has a sequel coming out on June 16 called China Rich Girlfriend. Crazy Rich Asians, Kwan’s debut novel, centered on New Yorker Rachel Chu and her crazy summer in Singapore where her perceptions of her boyfriend’s family culture are torn down. The sequel takes place a couple of years after the events of the first novel. Protagonist Rachel Chu returns in this installment of the series and we’ll get to see her journey to China to find her true father.
