Good news for fans of Scandinavian crime fiction: the Millennium series will continue. Swedish publisher Norstedts has announced that the saga that began with Stieg Larsson’s The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo will continue on for at least two more books, both of which will be penned by Swedish author David Lagercrantz (pictured below). Fans will have to wait a little while to get their hands on the new stories: the first of the two novels isn’t scheduled to be released until 2017. The second has a tentative release date of 2019. We love cool book covers here at the Reading Room, so you can imagine our excitement when we saw what the British Library has done with their flickr page. The institution has combed its collection for out-of-copyright covers from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, and they’ve made them all available online. So how many out-of-copyright covers did the British Library uncover? Well, an awful lot.
