A rare collection of Salvador Dali’s favorite recipes is being made available after a 40 year absence. It’s been reissued, and will be made widely available just in time for Thanksgiving. The book was originally published in 1973, but only 400 were known to exist. It was assembled by Dali and his wife Gala, and rest assured it’s no ordinary cook book. In the final weeks of New York Comic Con, IDW Publishing announced that they would be releasing a graphic novel centered around John Lennon’s life in New York, entitled: Lennon: The New York Years. The source material comes from a 2010 novel of the same name, by French author, David Foenkinos, in which he imagines conversations between the singer and a therapist. The New York Public Library has opened a new exhibit called “The Politics of Persuasion: 150 Years of Presidential Campaigning.” The library has apparently been amalgamating materials from past elections for over a century, and is debuting them now for the first time.
