Marvel Studios’ newest comic book adaptation Ant-Man and the Wasp, about a duo of small superheroes has had a brilliant opening weekend at the domestic box office. The Ant-Man sequel, starring Paul Rudd as Ant-Man/Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly as the Wasp/Hope Van Dyne made $76 millionacross North America. The film’s opening over overseas gathered $85 million which increased the worldwide opening to $161 million.
