On December third, the Game of Thrones twitter page released an official teaser for its prequel, House of the Dragon, that will be going into production in 2021, and we couldn’t be more fired up! But could this concept art also offer some secrets about the Targaryen series to come?

According to purewow.com:
Based on George R. R. Martin’s first Targaryen history book, Fire & Blood: 300 Years Before a Game of Thrones, the series will take place 300 years before Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke’s story. Last September, Martin confirmed there will be dragons (which totally makes sense given the name) in the new series and by the looks of the show’s latest tweet, he wasn’t kidding.
Though the images are provided without name or explanation, fan theories are cropping up that the two smoky red dragons are none other than Sunfyre the Golden and Caraxes, the Blood Wyrm.
Nice concept art! Guessing these might by Sunfyre the Golden (looks like a young dragon) and Caraxes, the Blood Wyrm #HouseOfTheDragon #GameOfThrones #dragons https://t.co/uAnT5ToLnj

Fans of George R.R. Martin’s A Game of Thrones, and all of his Westerns tales, will be thrilled by this little nugget of epic fantasy on its way to HBO in 2021. Though we still have a bit to wait until the screen sets ablaze with this new series, we definitely are encouraged that the clock is ticking until the prequel is ripe for consumption!
