Ava Duvernay’s adaptaion of A Wrinkle in Time harnessed the #mannquinchallenge hastag to announce the movies release date. After the video passes over 102 members, the date April 6th, 2016 is seen written on the front page of a script. Her video got a huge response from fans around the world, you can watch it here:
The star studded cast includes Oprah Winfre, Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling. Freozen’s screen writer, Jennifer Lee, adapted the script herself! Not only are there some heavy hitters, but the cast and crew are incredibly diverse in age, race, and gender. The release of A Wrinkle in Time is something we can all look forward to in 2018!
