Amazon Prime UK just dropped the trailer for its upcoming series, Alex Rider, based on the books by Anthony Horowitz—and boy are we excited.

The books follow Alex Rider, a young teenage boy whose uncle is killed in a suspicious car accident. After the tragic death, Alex discovers that his uncle used to be a spy for Britain’s top secret intelligence organization, and now it’s up to him to find his uncle’s killers.
The 12-book children’s series has been widely popular since its 2000 release, and was even adapted into a 2006 movie adaptation starring Alex Pettyfer.

The Amazon original will feature Otto Farrant as Alex, best known for his work in War & Peace and The White Queen, alongside Ronke Adekoluejo as Jack Starbright and Haluk Bilginer as Dr. Greif. It will be available to stream June 4.
“At a time when the world is looking for heroes, who better to come to our aid than Alex Rider?” said Wayne Garvie, Sony Pictures Television’s president of international production, about the series.
