For almost three years, FX has been developing a television adaptation of the critically acclaimed comic book series Y: The Last Man. Now, the network has officially ordered the adaptation to series.
Taking place in a post-apocalyptic world where everyone with a Y chromosome except one mysteriously dies, the lone surviving male and his pet monkey travel the world searching for answers as to why all the men of the world have died.
Barry Keoghan stars as the lone male. Diane Lane, Imogen Poots and Amber Tamblyn are among the cast of women.

Created by Brian K. Vaughn and Pia Guerra, the series will be written by Michael Green (American Gods) and Aïda Mashaka Croal (Luke Cage). FX released a haunting photo yesterday of Keoghan’s main character walking across a field of dead men.
