The first book awards of the year has announced its shortlist in each of the following categories: fiction, non-fiction, children’s & YA, and debut fiction. Australia’s independent booksellers work together to nominate the shortlist for these awards. Titles include books from already popular series like The Rosie Effect, and adorable picture books like Pig the Pug. There are also four debut authors mentioned!
