Why did you start your Bookstagram?
I started my bookstagram by accident actually. I had recently finished (and become obsessed with) the A Court of Thorns and Roses series and I purchased a candle box for it. I stumbled upon bookstagram while looking for other people to obsess with!
Where are you from?
I am from New Jersey, USA
What do you want your Instagram to bring to the world?
I would love for my Instagram to be a place where people can put aside their differences and unite over a shared love of books. Also, to show that even though we may prefer different books and have different opinions, that we can show kindness and grace towards each other.

Fun Fact about you:
I have a serious obsession with The Great British Baking Show and it inspired me to start baking.
Favorite Bookstagrammers:
There are so many amazing accounts that it is incredibly hard to pick. I have met so many awesome people and made some amazing friends that include:
@asthebookends
@starlightbooktales
@fablesandwren
@bookish_4_life
@dreaming_of_stories
@ve_xo
@morrighanrose
@_mkarys
@br.enda
Favorite Books and Authors:
That is a tough one! Harry Potter will always hold a special place in my heart. The Shadowhunters books by Cassandra Clare, The Illuminae Files by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman, The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson and A Court of Thorns and Roses and Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas are some of my favorites.

Fictional Crush:
Will Herondale is my ultimate book boyfriend. (But I do have a list a mile long of many others)
TBR List:
I am concentrating on adding some diversity to my bookshelves so a few on my tbr are The Rage of Dragons, Kingdom of Souls and A Song of Wraiths and Ruin.
What’s Your Special Approach to Content?
I just try to be genuine to myself and what I’m feeling. I don’t now that I have a conscious approach to my content- I just post what I love or what looks aesthetic.

Aesthetic / Instagram page theme:
I guess I’d classify it as a moody, warm and cozy vibe. I’ve also had people tell me that it gives off a dark academia vibe.
How often do you post?
I usually post once a day around 12 pm EST.
What does your Bookstagram mean to you?
It means so much! It is a place where I can decompress and escape and be surrounded by an incredible supportive community.
Favorite Bookstore:
Barnes and Noble. I always love their exclusive editions of books.
Who would you have supply you with a lifetime of books?
I would choose Macmillan Publishing- I read a lot of books published by their imprints
Author to take a selfie with:
Brandon Sanderson! I’ve been fortunate enough to meet a good deal of my favorite authors, but never him.

Favorite book cover:
I have really been loving the books with character art recently – ones like The Bone Crier’s Moon, Aurora Rising/Aurora Burning and Chain of Gold
Book you have claimed to have read that you didn’t:
In high school English class there were definitely some I was supposed to read, but didn’t. I couldn’t tell you which ones though
When did you know you had made it as a Bookstagrammer?
To be honest, I’m not sure! There are some days I still don’t feel like I’ve “made it”. Looking back though, I realize that I made it the day I decided to embrace the bookstagram community and realized that it is about so much more than posting pictures of books.

Favorite fandoms:
Harry Potter, Shadowhunters, Sanderfan (Brandon Sanderson), Squad 312, Grishaverse
Advice for aspiring Bookstagrammers:
Have fun! Aside from that, really reach out and engage with other accounts. It can be hard not to concentrate on the numbers (your follower count, likes, etc), but remember, that bookstagram should be fun!
Additional bookishness:
I am a collection hoarder! When I love a series, I want all of the editions of the book! (My wallet does not like this aspect of me). I am also a complete mood reader, much to the chagrin of my tbr!
Thanks for your time @abookishknight ! Tune in next week for another awesome bookstagrammer to check out!
