McSweeney’s, one of my favorite websites, published an article yesterday entitled More Literary Pet Names Using Puns Unworthy of Their Namesakes. Kristen Arnett and Mary Laura Philpott illustrated and published the delicious little article, and I’m obsessed.
While I fully recommend checking out the article or the original article for yourself, I’ve pulled seven of my favorites, just for you!
1. If I had a fish I’d name it Gillvia Plath.
