Author of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up and organizational guru Marie Kondo has started a war with legions of book hoarders.
While putting her famous KonMari decluttering method to use on the new Netflix series, Tidying Up, she asks two writers regarding their home libraries, “Will these books be beneficial to your life moving forward?”
A considerable number of books were then discarded, and swarms of booklovers fired their shots across the Twitterverse.
Apparently tidying expert Marie Kondo is suggesting to throw away books…..

One step from the KonMari Method suggests to tidy up according to categories of belongings, five of which include:
1. Clothes
2. Books
3. Papers
4. Komono (a.k.a. Miscellaneous Items)
5. Sentimental Items
Based on the internet’s uprising, she probably should have made an exception for books…
