Harry Potter and the Philospher`s Stone won a very special and magical book award in the UK! It was awarded the Blue Peter award. This year is the 20th anniversary of Blue Peter.
Categories for the Blue Peter award include: Best Story, Best Book with Facts, and now the Winner of Winners was recently added to the list. Harry Potter won under the Winner of Winners category. I mean, how could it not? It`s Harry Potter!

What makes this even more special is that Harry Potter won on World Book Day!
Shortly after the award, the Sorcerers Stone became the most borrowed book on the list of New York Public Library`s top ten books to be borrowed.
Even though it has been over 20 years, Harry Potter is still a large influence to children everywhere!
