Have No Fear: National Emergency Library Is Here!

For many of us, the library offers a sort of sanctuary… somewhere to escape to, get lost in, explore, and learn. Not having access to that space for self-betterment, especially in these anxious times, can be truly devastating.

Thankfully, the Internet Archive is offering to temporarily cancel waitlists and open the brand-spankin’ new National Emergency Library with over 1.4 million digital copies of pretty much every book ever made.

Thanks to the charitable help of hundreds of libraries, schools, and individuals, anyone with an internet connection will be able to check out the books of their choosing virtually. (You might not ever leave your house even when this is all over.)

There are truly endless options to explore, from the standard texts that will help students with online course work to classic fiction as well as escapist reads that will nourish your need for adventure!
