J.K. Rowling is known to adore all forms of creativity among her fans and all people, and the famed fiction writer has just announced her newest inspiration: a 350-year-old notebook that belonged to a teenager in the rural area of Biddenden, in the English county of Kent.
Except this isn’t your normal farm diary.

The book was put on display by the Museum of English Rural Life in a Twitter thread this past Saturday. Belonging to a thirteen-year-old boy by the name of Richard Beale, the notebook depicts his many math notes and homework. Beale’s doodles, however, steal the show, as they incorporate his many problems dealing with triangles.

Rowling retweeted the thread this past Sunday. She revealed her adoration and sheer fascination with such undiscovered talent hidden in history. The author even joked about making one of Beale’s doodles, a chicken wearing trousers, into a character in a future project.
