Malala Yousafzai has not wasted a second in the public eye, preaching the importance of education for young girls as a means of liberation and self-fulfillment. At just 19, she’s already published a book about her fraught life, I am Malala. Her first publication also advocates staunchly for a woman’s right to education in the face of Islamic Theocracy.
The book was a critical and commercial success. Malala now plans to bring her message to children with the publication of a picture story book called, Malala’s Magic Pencil.
According to the press release, the book will describe Malala’s ‘dream for a magic pencil to help make the world a better place’.
