Everyone can always use a Disney story to help cheer them up. Disney has partnered up with the actress of the original Mulan herself, Ming-Na Wen, to read a short Disney story about the beloved character.
The short story called “A Place for Mulan” is about Mulan trying to fit in but she learns that she has just been looking in the wrong places. She gets help from the ones who love her.
The cover for the book, which is written by Marie Chow and illustrated by Jasper Shaw, can be seen down below:

The video is from a series called Disney Storytime. The Mouse House has had other actors such as Yvette Nicole Brown, Paige O’Hara, John Stamos, and Elle Duncan read stories among many more in the new daily series.
Make sure to catch the video of Wen reading “A Place for Mulan” in full.
There seems to be a current trend of actors reading stories during this time. Wen’s reading of the Disney Princess Warrior Mulan will hopefully be a bit of a distraction and the perfect escapism for right now.
