Nicole Kidman is set to star in Amazon’s new series Pretty Things based on Janelle Brown’s upcoming novel. Random House will be releasing Pretty Things on April 21st.
The story follows a grifter named Nina and an Instagram influencer named Vanessa. The two meet at Vannessa’s family estate where Nina wants some payback. Nina is caring for her ill con artist mother while Vanessa is struggling with a broken-off engagement.

It is still unclear what Kidman’s role is. However, she will be producing the new series via Blossom Films. Reed Morano, who directed The Handmaid’s Tale, and Per Saari will be the executive producers.
