With the release of Stephenie Meyers long awaited ‘Midnight Sun’ last month, of course fans are thinking of a new movie or a potential reboot to the series. It’s been about ten years since a ‘Twilight’ movie came out and the way Hollywood is going it only seems right that Twilight, one of the biggest series in the world, would get something in the works regarding new media.
Even if nothing is in the works for now we know that one actor from the original series is ready for his contacts and fangs. Peter Facinelli, who played Carlisle Cullen, one of the best vamps in the entire series, is totally down to reprise his role.
I love that character. [He’s] so much fun to play and that world is so fun. Vampires aren’t supposed to age. It’s been like 10 years and everybody’s gotten older.
He has a point; he and his cast mates have all gotten older so a remake with the OG cast may not be possible. Especially seeing as they are all busy with family or new projects. The busiest being Robert Pattinson who is Batman himself, and hopefully for the foreseeable future. So are any of your dreams for a ‘Midnight Sun’ movie dashed?
