King’s new book has three novellas and a novel. The novellas are Mr. Harrigan’s Phone. A tale about burying someone with their favorite Apple device. Next is Rat, a story about an author who makes a Faustian deal so he can finish working on his novel. The last novella is The Life of Chuck, which is about a global disaster told backwards.

The story at the end is about the character Holly Gibney, who is intrigued by the disappearance of a mole on a TV reporter’s face.
