Earlier this summer, Netflix confirmed that they would be working on a series adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher series. Although there has been no confirmed release date, casting began in June.
Many fans are speculating as to who can play the part, but Henry Cavill has officially stated that he is a huge fan of both the books and games of the series and would love to play the part of the titular Witcher himself.

Cavill is an avid video-game lover and explained in a recent interview how he had just played through all of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The actor adores Sapkowski’s novels, yet he is not the only one to express their desire to be involved with the new adaptation.

Mark Hamill said that he would want to be involved, possibly as Vesimir, despite him not having any clue about anything Witcher related. This would be interesting; to see Skywalker mentor Superman is intriguing to say the least. For now though, no actors have been confirmed for any part.
