The 4th may be over but Taika Waititi’s endless talent will never be stopped. The man, the myth, the legend is going to be directing and co-writing a new and untitled Stars Wars project for major release in theaters.

There is very little know about this film unfortunately, only that he and Krysty Wilson-Cairns who wrote screenplays for 1917 and Last Night in Soho will be writing with him. I am massive fan of Waititi if you couldn’t tell. He’s always great at adding spice and zest to everything he touches. I don’t want to say anything too controversial but…Thor was boring before Ragnarok. I said what I said.

I would call myself a casual Stars Wars fan. I’ve seen some of the movies, complained heavily, and I am still wondering what the heck happened to The Rise of Skywalker. But knowing that the next Star Wars project is safely within Waititi’s hands, I can sleep well at night and look forward to the masterpiece he eventually gives us.
