Why did you start your Bookstagram?
I honestly just wanted a place where I could talk about my love of books and not be looked at like I have three heads. I wanted to talk about books with other book lovers! I also needed a creative outlet, and this has been perfect for that!
Where are you from?
I’m from Indiana!

What do you want your Instagram to bring to the world?
I want to let people know that it is okay if you only read one book this month. It’s okay to enjoy more than one genre. It’s okay to love a book that others think is trash. Not every book is for every reader. Read what you want and just have fun with it!
Fun Fact about you:
Fun fact? I don’t think I have one!
Favorite Bookstagrammers:
yelli3_reads, haley_and_her_books, readingmypages, thebookorder,and the_bookish_astronaut

Favorite Books and Authors:
Books – Six of Crows, ACOTAR, Fable, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, and Serpent & Dove.
Authors- In addition to the authors of the books above, I’m a big fan of Stephen King and Tess Gerritsen.
Fictional Crush:
Just one? I can’t! Kaz from Six of Crows, Rhysand, Cassian and Azriel from ACOTAR, and Lou from Serpent & Dove!
TBR List:
My TBR is ridiculously long so I’ll just go with just a few I’m really excited to read!
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
Wicked Saints by Emily Duncan
Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
The Madiens by Alex Michaelides
Survive the Night by Riley Sager

What’s your special approach to content?
I don’t think there is a special approach to my content. I just really love taking pretty pictures of pretty books and sharing those with people.
Aesthetic / Instagram page theme:
I’m not sure if I have a specific aesthetic!
Cozy maybe?
How often do you post?
I usually post 4-5 times a week. Sometimes more if I have book tours/promos.
What does your Bookstagram mean to you?
Bookstagram means community. A place where I can connect with other readers. This community has introduced me to so many great books as well as great people!

Favorite Bookstore:
I like my local Half Priced Books. If online, it’s Amazon or Book Depository.
Who would you have supply you with a lifetime of books?
Macmillan, Penguin, or Sourcebooks!
Author to take a selfie with:
Shelby Mahurin and Jay Kristoff.
Favorite book cover:
Omg. I am literally obsessed with book covers, so the list is way too long, but some of my faves are…
The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco
All the Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace
Fable by Adrienne Young
The Gilded Ones by Namina Forna

Book you have claimed to have read that you didn’t:
None but there are several I’ve promised people I would read and still haven’t!
When did you know you had made it as a Bookstagrammer?
Oh gosh. I still don’t think I’ve really made it as a bookstagrammer! Maybe when publishers reach out to me with ARC opportunities!
Favorite fandoms:
Grishaverse, Star Wars, and Marvel!

Advice for aspiring Bookstagrammers:
Just be you. Post the books you are excited about. Don’t worry about the numbers. Have fun! If you find yourself struggling with photos, photo challenges are great!
Additional bookishness:
Audiobooks have become a new favorite! I’m able to get through so many more books now.
