The Oxford Dictionary Adds ‘Yas’, ‘Squad Goals’ and More

The dictionary has been pretty busy adding words lately. A few weeks ago, the Merriam-Webster Dictionary added 1,000 words, including “snollygoster,” which is “a shrewd, unprincipled person.” This time, the Oxford Dictionary has added 300 more words, some of which include “yas,” “squad goals,” “drunk text,”  “cat lady,” and “sausage party.”  It seems the dictionary is keeping up with the times! As we evolve and our language grows, so does the dictionary.   For more words that have been added, click here.  We added ‘yas’ to the dictionary today.
