If you read the title and wondered briefly if we transported back to 2008, you’re not alone. Hot topic tees, Twilight marathons and Single Ladies on repeat; those were simpler times. 2008 may be long gone, but 2021 is continuing to serve us the nostalgia we deserve. The Twilight Saga one of the most beloved film adaptations and longstanding franchises of the last few decades can not only call Forks home, but Netflix too! This Monday the streaming giant announced that all five films in The Twilight Saga will be available to stream on their platform next month; July 16th to be exact! In other words, twihards with a US Netflix subscription can soon watch (and rewatch) Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn Part 1 and Breaking Dawn Part 2. Before you dig up your Team Edward or Team Jacob shirts let’s dive into everything we know so far!

Netflix picking up Meyer’s blockbuster hit shouldn’t come as a shock. Due to TikTok the beloved adaptation saw renaissance amongst both old fans and new ones. Not to mention many of those apart of a younger generation diving into fantasy during a time when lockdown took a toll on many; Twilight and many other classics provided an escape during those dark times. Then after Meyer’s long-awaited hit Midnight Sun, it goes without saying the franchise isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
