If there’s one thing I love more than anything during the Olympics, it’s the music that the competitors choose for their performances. I’ve heard “Phantom of the Opera,” Celine Dion for ice-skating, as well as some pretty cool tunes for the gymnastic floor sessions. But I must say, this one performance has to be one of the coolest I’ve seen… and heard.
She artistically performs through “Hedwig’s Theme” by the notable John Williams, who created almost every single soundtrack to almost every great movie… ever (E.T., Jaws, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, etc.). Magical moves and charming twists are sprinkled throughout for about a minute and thirty seconds. And her gold and red leotard is pretty divine too actually, and a lovely homage to the Gryffindor house. It’s a comeback performance for her, especially after her 2016 injury, but we think this performance says it all.
