Warning: The following article contains minor spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 7.
On this season of Game of Thrones, we’ve started to see the more humane side of Sandor Clegane (A.K.A. The Hound). If you recall the first episode of the season, in which he encountered two unrecognizable corpses at a farmhouse, his unusual display of sympathy seemed out of character. Later that night, he even gave the corpses a proper burial. Though the reason behind his sudden emergence of emotion is his guilt from mistreating the farmer and his daughter three seasons ago, viewers no longer regard him as a heartless savage.

Since last Sunday, fans have been swooning over the unexpected (albeit humorous) friendship between The Hound and Tormund Giantsbane. As Jon Snow’s squad marched beyond the Wall, these two exchanged such witty banter that fans felt the pair of them should receive their own spin-off.
The conversation begins with Tormund inquiring about Clegane’s burn scars and then to the former’s romantic interest in Brienne of Tarth.
The best dialogue ever… #GameOfThrones #Tormund #Hound pic.twitter.com/sGvLEhBhoO

Though Clegane appears acrimonious and less than intrigued, viewers were eager to see more scenes of them.

I want an entire spinoff series that’s just Tormund Giantsbane and The Hound living in an apartment together. #GameOfThrones #WinterIsHere

Someone even suggested a possible trio by adding Ser Davos.
Side note: if Davos, Tormund, and the Hound had a talk show I would totally watch it. They all give such sage advice #GameOfThrones pic.twitter.com/1qVxOUvSj4

In a behind-the-scenes interview, Kristofer Hivju, who plays Tormund, spoke about how Tormund was eager to impress The Hound beyond the Wall.
“He’s a huge guy, he’s mean and he’s crazy. You know, Tormund loves mean and crazy guys! The Hound is a very difficult guy to be friends with, he’s not a talkative guy, but Tormund is!”
