Have you been keeping up with “The Hardy Boys” on Hulu? It’s been renewed for a second season!
Taking place around six months after the events of Season 1, the next part of “The Hardy Boys” brings in Frank and Joe dealing with another strange and complicated mystery when a local teen goes missing and a shady new corporation moves into town.
The second season of the series, based on the classic mystery books by Franklin W. Dixon, will start production in Toronto and Southern Ontario later this month, and premiere in 2022. Though the series started in 1927, the show has been modernized into a television adaptation with Hulu.
Corus Entertainment-backed producer-distributor Nelvana and Lambur Productions, who produce the show, have greenlit a second season with Hulu for the US and Canadian kids’ broadcaster YTV. The first season of the show is currently available to stream on Hulu in the US and Amazon Prime Videos in Canada.
“It’s such an honor to be given the opportunity to continue telling the story of Joe and Frank Hardy,” said Joan Lambur, executive producer for Lambur Productions. “This season promises to provide suspense, action and heart to our audience. We can’t wait to get started.”
