Leonardo DiCaprio, along with his production company Appian Way, is teaming up with In Good Company Films to develop a new series titled Island, based on the novel by Aldous Huxley. The novel follows cynical journalist, Will Farnaby, who becomes shipwrecked on the fictional island of Pala located in the Indian Ocean. “Island is Huxley’s counterpart to his most famous work, the 1932 dystopian novel, A Brave New World.”

DiCaprio will serve as executive producer of the series alongside George DiCaprio, Roee Sharon, and Jennifer Davisson. The Appian Way team will also work with Alter and Jason Whitmore of IGC Films on production duties. No word yet as to which streaming service the series will call home.
