BBC reports that the Satanic Temple is suing the makers of the new Sabrina TV series for including a prop that resembles the group’s own statue of the goat deity Baphomet. Netflix and Warner Bros allegedly copied the statue’s design and included it in a number of episodes. The supernatural TV series also portrays followers of Satan as practitioners of cannibalism and forced worship, which the organization finds offensive. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reese Witherspoon and Fox 2000 are adapting The League of Wives, a true story about a group of women who saved their husbands from capture during the Vietnam War. The story was written by Heath Lee, a museum curator and writer of women’s history. The book recounts how after fighter pilots were taken prisoner in Vietnam, their wives banded together to convince the government to take action.
